March 2. On this date in 1953, Shoghi Effendi "said the Golden Age may be in 70 to 100 years." The Golden Age will itself be a process of maturation, following from the establishment of the Most Great Peace.
When asked when will be the beginning of the Golden Age - Guardian said the Golden Age may be in 70 to 100 years. Leroy Ioas commented that the establishment of the Universal House of Justice does not mean the beginning of the Golden age.
The Golden Age of Bahá'u'lláh is the name given to the flowering of the world civilisation which will be the fruit of Bahá'u'lláh's revelation. Although this is mentioned in the Writings of the Guardian of the Faith, it is not clearly delineated, and is largely left to the individual imagination to picture its nature and to try to conceive of its results. It is clear that the Golden Age will itself be a process of maturation, following from the establishment of the Most Great Peace.
