November 17. On this date in 2000, Billie Marie (Tuttle) Bracket, "born into possibly the most illustrious Bahá'í family in America," died in Monterey, California. Her grandparents, Charles and Maria Ioas, converted to the Bahá'í Faith in 1898, and three of Billie's aunts and uncles became Knights of Bahá'u'lláh. Billie's uncle, Leroy Ioas, was appointed a Hand of the Cause of God.
