November 12. On this date in 1936, Peter Khan, a former member of the NSA of Australia, the International Teaching Centre and the UHJ, was born in Bowral, Australia. In 1948, the Khans became the first Muslims in Australia to convert to the Bahá'í Faith. Peter's father Fazel "Frank" Khan and sister Joy Khan Vohradsky also served on the NSA of Australia. In 2000, Peter Khan gave a talk to New Zealand Bahá'ís about their reaction to Alison Marshall's excommunication, partially annotated here, which received a rebuttal by Juan Cole.
